    methodus ("we", "our", "us") operates the methodus.bar platform. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

    2. Information We Collect

    We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, workspace name, and recipe content you create. We also collect usage data: pages visited, features used, and device information. We use cookies for authentication and analytics.

    3. How We Use Your Information

    We use your information to: provide and improve the methodus service, authenticate your account, send transactional emails (password resets, team invitations), and analyze usage patterns to improve the product. We do not sell your data. We do not share your recipe content with third parties.

    4. Data Storage & Security

    Your data is stored on infrastructure with enterprise-grade encryption at rest and in transit. Row-level security ensures your workspace data is only accessible by your team members. All data is backed up daily.

    5. Your Rights

    You can export all your data (recipes, specs, certifications) at any time in PDF and CSV formats. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting hello@methodus.bar. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

    6. Cookies

    methodus.bar groups cookies into three categories. On your first visit we ask for your choice and remember it locally. You can change it at any time by clearing the methodus.consent.v1 key in your browser's local storage or by contacting us.

    • Essential — authentication, session, security. Always on; the app cannot function without them.
    • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (anonymised IP). Helps us understand product usage. Off by default; on only with your consent.
    • Advertising — Google Ads (conversion measurement and personalization). Off by default; on only with your consent. Uses Google Consent Mode v2, which redacts identifiers when consent is denied.
